Shafts and Axles shall have ample strength and rigidity and adequate bearing surfaces for their purposes

Rope Drums shall be fabricated or Cast Steel. All fabricated Rope Drums shall be stress relieved. Grooving of Drums and other aspects shall be as per IS : 3938

The Gears used in Electric WINCH shall be machine cut and shall confirm to relevant Indian standard. All gearing shall be enclosed and provided with means for ample lubrication
