You know sometimes we develop a serious pain over the wrist just above the base of the thumb and it aggravates while flexing the wrist laterally. This is caused by thickening of the tendons of the muscles of hands called Extensor Pollicis Brevis and Abdcutor Pollicis Longus. In Rheumatology it is called Dequeirvein's Tenosynovitis. Conservative treatments are not often succesful. We demostrate a single shot of Inj. Triamcinolone Hexacetanoide under High Resolution Linear Probe Ultrasonography which is being instilled in the subtendinous region under local anesthesia in an Out Patient Basis. This results in one time permanent resolution of the problem in almost all cases. If you see the video , you can appreciate the needle and the drug under USG. In this case the amount of drug administered was little bit more.
