Satyananda Boys’ Home was started in the year 1982 at  Kundola, Sainthia Block in the district of Birbhum, West Bengal with a view to  rehabilitate the orphan and destitute boys sent by the Govt. of West Bengal. It  is sponsored by the Women & Child Development Wing under Ministry of Social  Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal.  | 
                        Inmates  are provided with fooding, lodging, boarding and educational inputs to study in  the primary and secondary schools. A Superintendent is there to look after the  boys and run the Home systematically. There is also a tuitor to oversee  the progress of the inmates at Home. A cook and a helper are engaged to  prepare food dishes for them. The inmates are studying in the local  schools.  | 
                      
                      
                        |   The Home has got a capacity to accommodate 50  boys at a time. The Govt. of West Bengal has been sending orphan and destitute  boys since its inception as and when the vacancy is available here. As per the  existing rules and regulations of the Govt. of West Bengal inmates can avail  the opportuinity of staying in the Home upto the completion of their age of 18  years.   | 
                        They are also imparted with vocational trainings besides  their school curriculum activities. The inmates lead a homely life in the  Home. Annual outing is arranged each year for the inmates for developing  their thoughts, feelings and inherent qualities.  |
