I am  seven years experience in the field of pediatrics and Neonatology. I have undergone full-time (2007-2010) structured postgraduate training in Paediatrics in India in a tertiary care hospital (LHMC and associate KSCH Hospital). Following this I have worked as a RMO clinical tutor in Neonatology in a level III NICU at SSKM Hospital from may 2010 to 2013. I am promoted as Assistant Professor in the department of Neonatology, IPGME&R-SSKM Hospital since Feb 2013. I have been trained in ventilation (conventional and high frequency) as our unit has 12 conventional ventilators and one high frequency ventilator operational. I have undergone Six months training in Neonatology from Oslo University Hospital at 2012. I have gained experience in managing ELBW babies, post surgical patients and Cardiological problems. I learn Basic Echocardiography from Oslo. I have actively taken interest in developmental follow up as we run a speciality follow up clinic with developmental specialist, child psychiatrist, audiologist and neuromotor specialist. I perform exchange transfusions, emergency intubations, umbilical venous and arterial lines and PICCs almost on a regular basis.
