Site Survey - A vulnerability assessment is carried out of the site by the operations team to determine threats and risks which affects the security arrangements of the premises.

Security Design - Based on the assessed threats, risks and site situation a customized security design is planned covering;
  • Physical Security
  • Manpower Deployment Requirements
  • Security Systems Requirements
  • Security Procedures

Recruitment – This is carried out by the personnel department in keeping with the guidelines of standard recruitment policy of the company. This covers;

  • Minimum physical standards
  • Education level
  • Written test
  • Personal interview
  • Medical examination
  • Back ground check
Training - Each new security recruit must successfully complete the Basic Training plus the additional specific training as may be required. The content is identified in the basic training curriculum. A focus on quality awareness is an integral part of all training programmes.
All courses culminate in written, oral and practical examinations. Guards who fail to meet the required standard either during the course or as a result of the examination are rejected. Guards that pass the course are given a certificate of completion.

Uniforms - We fully concur that a smart uniform is an essential part of a smart guard force. We at USS pride ourselves on the uniform that we use as it is not only smart and practical but also flexible.  The different layers can be used to suit the prevailing climatic conditions. To ensure consistent quality and time supply of the uniform, these are manufactured by our in-house subsidiary company.
We feel it is important to mention that all our guards are issued uniform at our expense.

Deployment / Documentation / OJT - Based on the customised security design and the agreed manpower requirements, deployment takes place. All required documents such as site and post instructions, important telephone numbers, patrolling check lists, duty schedules, attendance rosters, training reports, leave application forms, incident report sheets are placed at the main security post.
It is mandatory for the contingent to go through On Job Training to familiarise with the premises and the available site and post instructions.

Supervision - During the early stage of the group’s development it was realized that no one can work in a vacuum and without close management input, encouragement and stimulation, security staff cannot function effectively. Therefore, in order to provide quality service, we give a lot of importance to in depth and active on-the-ground supervision.  In this regard, a strong operations team comprising of managers, inspectors, and patrolling supervisors carry out checks on all our assignments and guards on a 24 hrs. basis.

24 x 7 Control Room Services - In order to provide the best service to its customers, the Company has developed a concept of 24 hours Control Room located in all its regional, branch and head offices. To respond to emergencies Mobile Quick Reaction Teams are available at the disposal of the control room.
Trained controller is put in each control room whose job is to receive messages, analyse them and inform the right person. This acts as a one point communication and command centre, after the regular office hours. This certainly gives support to the operations team and works as a `Nerve Centre’ for a response organisation.

Client Interaction - To further improve upon our services, we seek continuous feed back from our customers. We have a system whereby we get a regular Client’s Feedback Forms that helps us not only to take corrective action wherever required but also to further improve our services.

Periodic Reviews - Regular review meetings are held at all levels. These meetings are held on a weekly basis by operations managers, on a fortnightly / monthly basis by Branch Managers and Regional Managers. The Regional Directors and the Zone Managing Directors meet on a monthly / quarterly basis for the same.
USS offers the optimal combination of specific project experience, commitment to quality, global security expertise and local operational support to meet and exceed the expectations of the Client.

  • Contracts for vendor services will be consolidated wherever possible in order to take advantage of economies of scale and reduce costs of processing multiple orders and payments.
  • The Facility Manager will have "ownership" over the premises and he will be involved in any decisions affecting the site. The "ownership" includes high levels of responsibility and accountability.
  • Performance of contractors and employees will be measured and tracked for trends so that process improvements can be regularly implemented. Also, we recommend contractor's fees be partially determined by achieving specific performance targets.
  • By identifying the existing conditions and making an organizational review, Eureka FS can improve operating efficiencies, implement effective procedures, recommend optimal staffing/tasking and realize cost savings.

Our strategy will be based on five integrated principles:
