The incidence of small and diseased radials is 20-20 is 1,000 populations. They are more prone to develop vasospasm  Usually 0.25 terrumo wire is used to cross this small radial artery. 5 fr diagnostic and PTCA guide catheters can be safely accommodated in small radials.
