Arm Position

The arm is positioned by the side of the body over a arm rest. The wrist is slightly hyperextended and supinated over  a plastic solution bottled below it. Usually the right radial artery . is used for operators convenience. However in some cases where right radial pulse is feeble or  not at all palpable, then left radial artery is used.
