Facilities of Pramila Memorial Advanced School

Pramila Memorial Advanced School provides opportunities for a child to achieve academic excellence, nurtures an interest in arts and cultivates sound moral values. The school strives to create an environment that encour­ages all round development in its students. Our motto is to inculcate in the child a sense of pride to be an Indian and always respect the secular image of India.

The medium of instruction is English and the first language is only English. The second language can be either Hindi or Bengali. The child's performance is assessed through regular class work and homework, and unit tests and terminal examinations.

Special attention is given in extra curricular activities like drawing, handwork, recitation, singing, dramatics extempore, debate, creative writing, karate aerobics and games and P.T. Throughout the year the students are encouraged to participate in these extra-curricular activities.

The guardians can call on the office in the School hours to discuss their ward's problems, with the school authority, if necessary.

The Institute provides scholarships for higher studies to needy and promising students. The guardians of these students must produce proper evidence in this matter.

CURRICULUM:

The school prepares candidates for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Class X) and is affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. According to the requirements of the Council, internal assessments are made compulsory on all subjects (Class VI-X).
