Hair Transplantation also does in moustache, beard for males and in eye brows for both male and female.

The basic technique is same as HT. It is also done under local anaesthesia. Each follicle in single or double hair roots is selected only. Obliquity or axis of the natural hair is as in eye brow or side burn beard moustache is maintained. Eye brows each in female needs 200-300 hair follicles and in male slightly more depends on the width of the eye brows.

Side burn/julphi needs 300-500 follicles in each side. Moustache area in male needs 500-800 follicles or more and the beard area needs 1000-1500 follicles on each side.

All these areas are kept open after Hair Transplantation no bandage or dressing is given.

Candidates are advised to take liquid diet and semi-solid diet after surgery for beard & moustache but for others are allowed to take normal diet as usual. Other post-operative cares are similar as Hair transplantation (mentioned in Cares after surgery page).
