Endoscopic skull base surgery (ESBS) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that allows doctors to access the base of the brain through the nose.

A neurosurgeon or other specialist uses a surgical telescope, or endoscope, to see the surgical area in high definition. They then use specialized instruments to remove tumors, perform biopsies, or repair cerebrospinal fluid leaks.
