She started her journey in the field at the age of 15 years diverting herself from YOGA, being disciple of Vishashree Monotosh Roy.  She chooses the glorious aspect of Bengali songs which are treated as treasures of Bengal i.e. Folk, Devotional and Modern based songs. So far, she has recorded 120 songs of various cassette companies VIZ. T- SERIES, RAGA, UPHONIC, ALLINTIS, JMD Tele Films and DREAMZ UNLIMITED etc.

The main characteristics of her vocal is that  there no artificiality which touches the core of one's heart.
