Important events in the 43 years of Onnwesak :

1) We have produced total No. of Productions-58 (Full length-20 & short play-38).

2) We have organised many full length and short drama theatre festivals featuring our own productions as well as significant productions of other groups.

3) Onnwesak has successfully arranged a good many remarkable seminers and theatre works on theatre with the help of eminent theatre personalities.

4) Onnwesak has given significant emphasis in joint production and collaboration with other groups. Arranged many cultural programme on Recitation, Songs, Mime etc. for the development of local mass and theatre workers.

5) We participated in various Drama Festival and Drama Competition within all over W.B. and other parts of India. Where we have received many awards such as : W.B. Dance-Drama-Music and Fine Arts Best Production in the year 1974 and 1976. 3 times Abhinoy Puraskar, Best Production Award from Lucknow Bengali Club and more than Awards for Best Production, Direction and for Best Actor etc.

6) We have produced 3 full length Drama for Kolkata Doordarsan (Darpan Saskhi, Hesaber Kari and Matir Tane) Written by Chandan Sen.

7) Felicitatation of renowned theatre and cultural personalities.

8) 40 years celebration was organised within a Tri-phased programme. The programme included in grateful reminisence to our colleagues awarding Momento and Certificates, to pay our regards to dedicated Drama personalities, to arrange a Drama Workshop with high profile theatre Memtors and the presentation of Drama Festival by eminent theatre groups including Onnwesak which was arranged at Kolkata and locality.

9) Onnwesak in the process, ventured to produce some significant plays both orginal as well as translated or adopted from important works of grate masters like : Luigi Pirandell, Za Paul Santre, Sewataslab Minakav, Bijon Bhattarcharjee, Tulshi Lihiri, Chandan Sen etc.

10) With the collaboration of local group, we the Onnwesak have produced and organised : Utpal Dutta Drama Festival, Ganga Jamuna Drama Festival, Inter School Drama Festival, Theatre Workshop, Full Length and Short play Drama Festival. In this connection, last but not the least, we have taken various Projects to promote healthy culture among the mass, we think it is probably the high time to think over the depreciation of human values spreaded over the generation and we still continues to perform in and around the kolkata in entire district of South 24 Parganas.
