In 1992, when a group of theatre enthusiasts decided to work together under a common platform for the realization of immense potential of theatre as well as to enrich their own lives through the medium, Rangatal was born.
Rangtal is a common platform for theatre practitioners where one can become an insider with little formalities but of course with a passion for theatre and its process. With an all encompassing approach to theatre and nature, it is difficult to limit ourselves in a small circle of performing arts and life.

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA
A Satirical drama based on a Puppet show. It is an experiment on human puppet. Like to Rod
puppet (Panchatantra of TV serial). Totally depends on body language. Like love, angry,
respect, devoted and Vakti Song etc. Actually some history of Swami Vivekananda
with Sadhak Ramakrishna, Natyakar Girish Ghosh, , Maa Sarada Devi, Hridaya etc .
So it is our attractive different program.

A girl love the Drug addicted. She did not know about him before starting love.
When she could know, did not understand. She wanted to long leave with him.
Suddenly a social worker show them and he understood and he advice to called
them to attend their organization for treatment. After one year the boy also fully
fitted and they are happy.

Assam, Mumbai, Jalpaiguri and local groups from West Bengal. We have done
awareness programmes Human Puppet & Mime from 24th Dec to 25th
Dec. 2011 at Chhayanat Club, 24Pgs. (S) , 8th January at Barasat, 14th January to 15th January 2012 at Behala Parnosree, Kolkata, 24th January at Ashokenagar, North 24 Parganas, 28th January to 31st January at Mednapur (East) and 12th February , 2012 at Kankinara Book Fair through “Song & Drama Division , Ministry of Broadcasting, Govt. of India. Last 4th January and 24th February, 2012 , we have performed human puppet shows regarding Traffic Rules Week , organized by Kolkata Police and West Bengal Police at Kadamtala , Baraipur and Behala Police Station. We have performed “Thakur Sree Sree Ramkrishna” , Human Puppet show, organized by Dhumketu Puppet Theatre on 20th March , 2012 at Calcutta University Institute Hall.

A Big Boss who has been cutting his hair without charge and doing massages also same. We have known that Napit always cleaver. Once upon a time the Napit also decided to make a fool to the big man. When the big man comes and same beavers and Napit had cut his all head hair and paste his same place by gum. The big person breaks up and understands, wanted to action to the Napit. But Napit run way from there. The Big man makes a fool.

Synopsis of Human Muppet
Save Animals
Human habitat in this world cannot go by unsetting the natural balance, where animals, birds and other creatures will live alongwith the plants and trees. All these create a perfect balance for Nature . Tigers are gradually decreasing in India , Elephants are coming out from their abode, other animals are decreasing day by day. One , due to shrinkage of Jungles and the other due to poaching of animals who are killed for gains. In this context we have staged a drama on a lion which lost his mate by the act of poachers and moved from are place to another . The sequence was made through human Muppets as if all the nature expressed grief for him and over the jungle trees wept for this grief on the loss of this mate.
Jneneswari Kanda Synopsis of Mime
It is a drama on intolerance and ill-motive of people, how they crush minimum human value and become the cause of great disaster. Rails are our National property . This property which is one of the greatest means of communication. It is being , due to political unrest becomes an easy prey for damage causing loss of many lives and property .Ill-motivate people are there to kill people of all classes by their misdeed , which recently happened due to subversive actions caused to Jneneswari Express near Jangalmahal , Midnapore in West Bengal . There is no repentance from the misdoers . We fear, that next generation will not be relieved from such mishaps where hundreds of innocent children, aged and bright youths will face such a nemesis.
Hotel (Children Labour) Synopsis of Mime
In students many children lived together. One of them was very docile, obedient and very simple . Other friends of the same age, seeing him so simple ragged him in many ways. He bore all their atrocities. One day all of them went to an eatery, where they ate at their hearts content and all other left him without paying the bill and pointed him to the owner of the eatery that , he would pay the bill .The boy was very much surprised but the owner did not relieve him and snatched all his belongings including mobile. The eating people did not release him and mercilessly beat him and forced him to do all filthy jobs.
In course of such dealings the boy once Hotel owner and his men beat him in such a way to which he fell dead.
Then the Hotel –owner and his men repented for such an act. Bill all is over them.

Re: AIDS
AIDS and HIV are now a very serious topic throughout the world. The loss of human resistance for life due to the syndrome has created a panic. The proper remedy for the AIDS stricken people is in doubt as yet.
We are a socio-cultural organization and present cultural programmes for different kinds of social awareness through human puppet shows to create an effective result on the spectators. We have prepared a human puppet show on the killer dieses “AIDS”. We belief the people will be attracted to witness the show and we are trying to have an effective message on the terror dieses AIDS to the people.

Natun Jeevan
Manas was a truck driver of Mumbai. He married Dipa but he was died by AIDS after few months. After his death Dipa came back to her father with HIV+ in blood. Dipa and her father went to a local doctor with a neighbor. The doctor said that AIDS is not a killing disease now. The doctor gave advice to avoid sexual relation without condom, to avoid harmful intoxication, to avoid the used needle of injection ect. Dipa became full of desire to life hearing the advice.
