A veteran in this field , she has a clinical & professional experience of more than thirty years. She completed her M.B.B.S from N.R.S. Medical College & Hospital (Calcutta University) & subsequently Post Graduate Diploma in Gynaecology .& Obstetrics (D.G.O) from The Calcutta Medical College & Hospital (Calcutta University).In these institutions she was mentored & trained by pioneers in the field of Obs.& Gynae.,specially Prof.Dr.Saroj K.Bhattacharya & Prof.Dr.K.M.Gun.

Later,after many years of Clinical service as a Specialist Gynaecologist. mainly in Govt.Hospitals and later in Private Hospitals,she received her Fellowship & subsequently a Diploma In Minimal Access (Laparoscopy)Surgery in Gynaecology from WALS & SAGES after completing her training under the able guidance of the Legendary Prof.Dr.R.K.Mishra at the Institute Of Mininal Access Surgery at WLH,NCR Delhi.
