What is happening all around us?
The average modern self is fragmented, too self-occupied & narrowly focused on a few tangible objectives. Given the nature & pace of events, today every human mind, whether at 5 or 50, experiences excessive stress, pressures of the environment & estrangement from its true nature. This is an universal phenomenon.
                                   At the workplace:
In the business environment, we notice excessive rivalry and ego issues that often cripples productivity. The business environment today is all about meeting deadlines, maintaining standards, responding to global benchmarks of efficiency and effectiveness. All this calls for a high degree of human skills, apart from technical skills. Creating a sense of harmony and bondage in this environment is essential. The question is, how do we meet the challenge?
                                  Motivation and the lost thread:
To get to the root of the matter, we may ask "What drives us in life?" Perhaps - everything. Money, power, fame, glory and an endless list of "motivators", to name just a few.. We run after them believing that these are the ultimate "treasures" we can store for ourselves. However, somewhere down the line we feel that even all these put together cannot give us the satisfaction, joy & energy. When we feel lost, exhausted, we ask ourselves: "Why is it happening? Where have I lost the thread?"
We conduct ourselves in a manner that is "alien" to our basic nature & intrinsic values. We only SURVIVE. That is the lost thread.

Get to an understanding of the self :
While explaining the realities of life to Arjuna, Lord Krishna, on the battlefield of Kurukshetra said a few profound things about the immortality of the soul. We may find it relevant here, because every bit of earthly acquisition is ultimately directed towards "enriching the soul."
An enriched self is the emancipated being who is knowledgeable, profound, emotionally stable, unperturbed by the turbulent joys & sorrows of life & vibrant with life-energy. Some individuals understand this, and some can translate this into living skills, working skills.
Take this message and translate it into LIVING :
If we take this intrinsic "positive" message & translate it into specific life skills, we may conclude by saying that the joy of life is missing from our lives because, we have stopped focusing on our inner selves & hence got estranged from the core of our existence. Modern man often aspires for the moon and ends up in a void. Running on the "track" endlessly, he or she feels exhausted, frustrated and empty. |

                                • What is DSL?
DSL is a belief... It’s a philosophy of life. Don’t Survive... Live –when we make this the slogan of our lives - then even the confusing, fast-changing, fleeting world of business today becomes a much better place to live. In the Darwinian spree of “struggle for existence” and “survival of the fittest” - the flavor of life is lost. The freshness of gaining back faith & trust in people, and satisfaction in jobs, may re-kindle our lives. The workshops and training programs of DSL are based on this theme.

                                    • What does DSL offer to the business world?
DSL strives to make every organization a learning organization. Among all other organizational assets, ultimately the human resources determine its future. A healthy culture can empower an organization to face difficult challenges, overcome financial and economic crises, implement successful mergers and acquisitions, resolve serious productivity issues, reduce high employee turnover, accelerate growth, make a leap, and deliver unbeatable competitive advantage.
The basic tool is learning & development (L & D). Through conventional styles of presentations, seminars, workshops one may achieve a certain degree of success in knowledge sharing. Unfortunately, some of these sure-shot techniques also fail to yield results due to “mindsets”. As practicing L&D professionals, we know that people love and in fact “crave for learning”, but only when participants feel comfortable. This environment or atmosphere is the key to success with L & D. When conducted in a non-threatening, non-judgmental and positive atmosphere L & D can deliver astounding results. DSL is one unique platform where this is done with great success.

DSL offers customized learning solutions to different segments of corporate clients - based on specific needs.

The attempt towards re-connecting ourselves with our primal life-force is one of the thrust areas of DSL. The methodology it adapts is a combination of Western Positivism, Western Psycho-analytical technique and Indian Vedantic thoughts. Due to the uniqueness of approach, it reaches out to the largest number of people with microscopic precisions.
