Manas De is an well-known tabla player. He took His training from learned gurus and was one of the scholar of W.B. State music Academy under the tutelage of renowned guru late Sri Gayan Prakask Ghosh. Sri De is also playing an important role as an accompanist in music classes organized by Wes Bengal State Music Academy (Information and Culture Department, W.B.) where other classical eminent performed. Sri De was been felicitated for his participation in parliamentary program arranged at the eve of 125th anniversary of Rabindra Nath Tagore on the 1995.

Sri De is a good and efficient performer. Many of the eminent artistes of vocal and instrumental area have been accompanied by Sri Manas De with his tabla rhythm in many public and private stages. Sri De is also able to create an attractive sweetness in his tabla playing. He is arranged many workshop and perform as a tabla player in many workshop. He is experienced more than 20 years.
