• Regular singer in the choral group "Mass Singers" directed by Late Hemango Biswas.
• Regular singer in the choral group "Lokosaraswati" directed by Late Kali Dasgupta.
• Audio CD 'Gram Banglar Narir Moner Katha' produced by Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts; New Delhi, under Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Government of India.
• Publication of an audio cassette "Bandhu Je Jan" in the year 2000 from "Music 2000".

• Performed Bhojpuri songs in an NFDC Film "Maithar Ki Basti Me Karna Kunti Ka Sangbad" directed by Shyamal Ghose.
• Chief presenter in a Seminar on Bangla Folk Song organised by St. Xaviers College, Mumbai in the year 1999.
• Performed Bangla Folk Songs in Radio Programmes during the period   1987-1997.
• Regular Bangla Folk Song performer with self-accompaniment of Dotara and Ektara in different programmes of Government   as well as Non-Government organizations in Kolkata and throughout the country.
• Worked as a lead singer in the music choir "ARANI" from mid-70' and early-80's

As a Music Director:

• Worked as Music Director in two Documentary Films "Bishanshilpa" and "Medinipurer Meye Patua".
• Works as Background music composer of local group theatres like Mrittika,Uhini,Rupakalpo,Samatat etc.

As a Research Worker:

• Receipient of Junior Fellowship from the HRD Department, Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Government of India, in the year 1992-93 for the subject "Effect of String Instruments on Folk Song".
• Published articles on Folk Music in different News Papers and Magazines.
