Prasun Banerjee is gifted North & South Indian dance exponent with a fine sense of Laya & Tala. He is famous artist in Calcutta who could perform Bharat Natyam, Kathak and Odissi with equal perfection. In 1990 he joined Sarwasad to learn Bharat Natyam from famous Guru Smt. Anita Mallik. He also attended the special course organized by Guru Smt. Moli Roy.
During this period he was complete his
Junior Diploma from Prayag Sangeet
Samity (Allahabad) and awarded Gold Medalist
from Suranandan Bharati (Kolkata) in Bharati
Natyam. He started Kathak under
the tutelage of Guru Smt. Madhumita Roy.
Currently he is a deciple of famous Guru Sri Khaganendra
Nath Barman. In 2009 he completed his M. A. from
Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata under Guru
Sri Khaganendra Nath Barman.
In last 15 years lot of talented dancers came up under his guidance who got various prizes and scholarship from different local authorities and from Central Govt. in the field of IndianClassical Dance and Western Dance. Holding member in the field of Dance like Bengal Dance Group Federation etc.
