Alok Krishna Chakravarty was born on the day of Maha Janmastami in 1935. His father was Late Keshablal Chakravarty. His mother was Late Amala Chakravarty. Alok Krishna Chakravarty is the eighth and youngest son of his parents. He has the natural talent in the all branches of Bengali Literature. He has gained his popularity mainly for the Research on Netaji. His first Book, “Shoulamarir Sadhu Ki Netaji” has created exploration in literary arena in India. His other books on Netaji are : “Shatarupe Subhas”, “Charam Muhurte Netaji”, “Subhas-o-Emili”, “Renkojir Bhasma Rahasya”, “Nari -O- Netaji”, Shrutinatye Netaji-Jibon Rahasya” etc. His writings on superstitions on Religion are : “Dharmer Name", "Dhrmer Bhaye” etc. His books for Juveniles are : “Bhombolda Series”, His present book "Gandhijir Apakarma" has created sensation in India and No. 1 Best Seller now.
