Panti is one of the leading modern poet as well as literary personality
of Bengali Literary. He was born on Sunday, 17th September in
1950 at his maternal uncle’s house in the village of Dhanyakuria
of 24 Parganes (North) of West Bengal.
He had grown up fluently in the village of “Jadurahati”
with a garden of green-ness.
He had spent his early school life without any so-called routine
and had enjoyed his childhood with full of freedom like the ever-free
nature and by the loves of man. By his own creations, he was always
very unique man. Plant & Trees, Animals, Birds and over all
nature were only friends, philosophers and guides for this rare
character like him. He had never relied on the traditional educational,
though by profession, he is a very successful engineer. Since
his very early age, he had attracted in writing, creation by his
intention and concentration with keen feeling. His deep interests
are always on recitation, songs, and photography in his leisure
time. He did not like the ordinary conventional life with limitations.
His endless thinking on man and love always reflects on his writings,
poems and arts by his uniqueness.Professionally, he is attached
to the service in Doordarshan (Prasar Bharati)
