From his student life he started the habit of writing.Inspired by Amarendra Ghosh, literature and started critical analysis on it. He worked on Bengali language differences of Hooghly Dist. He graduated from Calcutta University. He specially working on thoses talented bengali writer who hasbeen forgotton like Bankim Chandra, Sarat Chandra etc. He regularly works in Ganashakti and is associated with Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammelan.
