Sujoy Basu started to make his presence felt in the numerous stage performances, which came his way since his early days in the world of music. Since his childhood he started learning music at the age of 8 years from his mother.

He had his final grounding under the able guidance of Late Shri Jitendra Mohan Sen Gupta and then he came under Shri Ajoy Singha Roy and learned Indian Classical Music and light classical music on the Guitar.

He has also completed Prachin Kalakendra. Besides being a versatile guitar artist he has mastered in composing Indian and Western Music. He learnt Western music from Lousie Fernandes.

For decades he has been performing all over India. In Kolkata he participates in some big music conferences like Sura Bharati, Dakshini Music Conference, Bhavani Music Conference, Gita Music, Raginee, Saptak, Sur-Dhyan and several other music conference . He is a All India Radio accompanist.

He has taught in several music school like Sangeet Shyamla and Bani Chakra, Sargam in Durgapur, Kalanily, Suryodaya (Hi-Land Park), Better High School and many other schools since last 40 years.

He is the founder as well as the principal of HINDOL MUSIC ACADEMY. He has mastered - Classical Guitar, Spanish Guitar, Key-board.

We have highly reputated instrumental orchestra band (Professional) named "HINDAL" - performed both Indian and Western Music Programmes.
