in 1949, Dr. (Mrs.) Sudeshna Chakravarti, studied in Loreto House,
Presidency College, Calcutta University and Cambridge University.
She passed all the diploma examinations in French and German from
Alliance Francaise and Goethe Institute, Calcutta; also studied
Dutch and Spanish.

with two feminist organizations. Received the Rammohan Library
and Foundation Prize for the best short story published in a little
magazine in 2000.
