young dancer has just one dream, to establish herself as a renowned dancer.
NANDINI
CHAKRABORTY, a young talent in Kathak Dance. She is disciple of Pandit Vijai
Shankar since 8 years. She participated in “Young Choreographers' (Kathak)
Festival 2001” at Gyan Manch, in presence of Pt. Birju Maharaj, organized by
Padatik Dance Centre and also participated in various prestigious programmes at
different stage in Calcutta. She has performed in Kolkata & Patna
Doordarshan Centre several times. Miss Shaswati Sen, a renowned Kathak dancer
inspired her time-to-time. She has been awarded “Sangeet Pravakar” by the
Prayag Sangit Samiti, Allahabad.
