TARUN GUPTA is a resident of Hetampur village in the district of Birhbum. Music is in his blood and he sings Folks, Baul, Jhumar, Chotka Olikal and many other songs.

He had learnt modern songs from his Guru Sri Jyotishleshwar for the past twenty-five years. He is a “B High Class” artist of Akashvani Kolkata.

“AMAAR BOU SAB JANE” and “DOHAI GINNI” these two songs are his own creations. His hobby is painting. He is able to use both water and oil colours to create and bring out life like pictures.
