| In
1967 Parimal Das was in Class V when he took to acting. He used
to watch rehearsal at his maternal uncle’s house and from here
he was so convinced that he actually accepted acting as his profession.
He used to act in the local annual celebrations. Then in 1976
he joined Theater Group. He even joined the group of his uncle
and acted. In the All India Gana Natya Sangha he acted in the
Drama “Long March”, Gyanesh Mukherjee was the director.
In
1986 he formed his own group “BANSDRONI SABYASACHI NATYA SANSTHA”.
He directs Drama in this group and also hold workshops. His group
has performed in many stages and also held One Act Drama. With
his group he had competed and won many prizes. He is also invited
by many other Theater Groups to help and give direction. He even
teaches small children in his programme.
He
had taken training from Calcutta Lalb Theater, Lebedev Drama Circle
in Gorky Sadan, Academy of Folk Theater and Choop Katha (Group
Theater).
He
farmed UTTAR SARATHI NATYA ACADEMY
for children.
He
acted in the short film named - 1) AAI-E-PATH,
2) Duto Chabir Khonje.
He
had learnt from the under mentioned masters and he is very great
fun to them.
