With experience of more than 30 years as an Orthopaedic Surgeon he has worked at many hospitals and has created a niche for himself in his field.

He was associated with West Bengal Medical Education Services for 26 years after which he took Voluntary Retirement while serving as a Associate Professor at Bankura Medical College, Bankura, West Bengal.
