Barasat Anweshan started the library in the year 2004 at the city office, since then many books are taken into stock which are resourceful. Beside our students and staff members, we allow all other interested individuals to read books at their wish. We take few periodicals regularly for our readers. Every year we purchase a lot of books for the library taken into consideration of the public demand. The number of readers is increasing with the increase of books on different subjects. Our respectable CEO, Sri Shyamal Ray Chowdhury himself, as an experienced teacher, bears the responsibility for selection of books that made the standard of the library higher within years. We have many rare collections of books which we keep as rich wealth.
Beside the Central library at the City Office, Barasat Anweshan has established individual libraries in all its schools and colleges. In those libraries, beside study books, the students are getting many reference books and books of culture. Experienced librarians are managing all these libraries in scientific way. |
