Pre-marital Counselling :
Pre-marital Counselling prepares adolescents and youths so that meeting challenges of life become more rewarding and healthy.


Family Counselling :
Family Counselling helps to improve communications within family, assists in the resolution of family conflicts and addresses the management of problematic family members.


Student Counselling :
Student Counselling helps to reduce all phobia related to school, Study & examination & creates awareness on addiction.



Career Counselling :
Career Counselling helps to explore option related to career as per the aptitude of the students.


Psychological Assessment :
Psychological Assessment through a wide range of tests measures neuropsychological characteristics of an individual which also include current level of intellectual functioning, interests, aptitudes, personality organization and capacity for human relationship.


Awareness programmes :
Awareness programmes GSWS conducts various capacity building programs for Teachers, Parents professionaly on stress management, student guidance, parenting, school environment etc.


Economic Empowerment for Women :
Economic Empowerment for Women The unit runs the project" Alor Sparsha" acapacity building initiative on (1) Mushroom Cultivation (2) Interest free loan (Kantha Stitch & Costume Bag making) for empowering women folk at various villages, i.e. Digha, Sashidharpur, Meherpur etc. near Shantineketan - Bolpurunder Sainthia Block, District Birbhum with the financialsupportVAROSHA, USA, Bhagyashree Knitting School providestechnical supporttolearn Knitting, Cuttingof Garments, Outfits and Embroidery.

Beej Prokalpa of Alor Sparsha - Mushroom seed processing and training unit for 10 beneficiaries of Meherpur and Digha village of Birbhum District.

The two years Distance Learning Master of Arts (M.A) in Psychology conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed formeeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of psychology, behavioral sciences, educational psychology, psychiatry, organizational effectiveness and leadership, child psychology, human and group behavior etc.
