  • Among the six Odissi dances mention should be made of Baishali Kolay, a disciple of Smt. Aloka Kanungo, who emulated the best of her teacher with bhava and postures. Her competent executions of Mahana pallavi and the abhinaya to the song Tolagi gopa danda, raised a few eyebrows. Her assets basically is a pair of extremely expressive eyes.
