BAISHALI  KOLAY is an exceptionally gifted dancer of   immense potential. She is an  outstanding product of Saurabh, Dance and   Music Academy and has performed in  the lead roles in their dance   dramas.  
              She  started her training at the tender   age of two and half years under Smt.  Paravati Samajpati, who first   recognized her talent. 
                     
                  Her  first performance was at the age of three.   Thereafter, she came under the  discerning tutelage of renowned Odissi   exponent Smt.   Aloka Kanungo, who  nurtured her talent and after years of vigorous   training under strict  supervision Baishali  emerged as a full-formed   Odissi dancer.  
              Under  the able guidance of Smt. Aloka Kanungo,   Baishali obtained the Sangeet Kriya  Visharad with distinction from   Saurabh. She is the proud recipient of the  Junior National Scholarship   from the Centre of Cultural Resources and Training,  New Delhi and the   Senior National Scholarship from the Ministry of Human  Resources, New   Delhi. She had the rare distinction of receiving first prizes  both from   Paschim Banga Rajya Sangeet Academy and Nehru Talent Search Contest.    She bagged prize from Yuva Festival and also took part in several   workshops of  the renowned maestro Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra.

                              A  regular artiste at Calcutta Doordarshan Kendra since   her childhood, Baishali  has also performed in the closing ceremony of   Tourism Week of Tourism  Department, Government of India. 
              Blessed  with a bewitching stage presence and eloquent eyes, Baishali is adept in both  nrutta and abhinaya.
