She was born in 24 November 1980. Since the year 1987 Miss Somarani stated her music career through different musical programmers in and around the city.

Since then her musical exposure took place in various auditoriums like Mahajatisadan, Rabindrasadan, Sarat Sadan etc. etc.

Somarani has the expertise in singing variety of songs stating from Rabindra Sangeeet To Najrulgeeti, with total command over the years.

She also had an audio cassette released in the year of 2002, as title” Mono Jago Mangalloke” was super hit that time.

Subsequently she kept herself busy round the year consequently for long year by giving her outstanding Performance, one after another.

Currently she is looking for a break as playback singer and at the same time as music teacher, also for the programmers purely based Rabindra Sangeet sponsored by any renowned banner at all times.

She ahs also the interested for making audio/ video album on Rabindra Sangeet of various range along with  the stage performance.
