 Santu Bhattacharya is an established Event Organiser and Programme arranger. He and his musical troupe cum orchestra have participated in different places in India and abroad in the United Kingdom, Thailand, Deubai and UAE.
Under his guidance his musical institute 'Majlish' was formed. This unit has performed in many prestigious platform, star rated hotel both India and Abroad. Many eminent singers of Mumbai, Kolkata performed along with them. The troupe has also a regular performer of Zee Bangla, Zee Tv, Sony Tv (Indian Idol), Star Plus, Star Jalsa and many others.
'Majlish' also conducts training school for both vocal and instrumental music. Lots of youth got training to develop themselves.
Santu Bhattacharya comes from a family with musical background. His father Shri Binoy Bhattacharya was more than a useful vocalist and tabla player hence Santu got his basic lesson from his father. Saikat Bandopadhyay has also helped young Santu to gain knowledge in tabla helped him to grow. Santu accompanid with tabla in various platform along with star performer like Banasri Sengupta, Sakti Thakur, Madhabi Chatterjee. |
