He has passed MBBS from Burdwan Medical Collage in 1992. Completed internship from R.K.M.Seva Pratishtan (Sishumangal) in 1993. He completed M.D. in General Medicine from Kasturba Medical Collage, Mahipal under Manipal Acadamy of Higher Education from 1993 -96.
He completed the Post Doctoral Fellowship in Gastroenterology from Kasturba Medical Collage, Manipal Academy of Higher Education in 1996 -98.

1. Worked as senior registrar in gastroenterology at Peerless Hospital from 1998 -99.
2. Joined Ruby General Hospital as consultant in gastroenterology in 1999.
3. Worked as visiting physician at R.K.M.Seva Pratishthan(Sishumangal) in department of gastroenterology from 2000-2003.
4. From 2000 onward worked at various corporate hospitals in kolkata including            Belle Vue, Wockhardt (now Fortis).
5. Currently having own clinic at Quadra Diagnostics, 41, hazra road. Kolkata – 700 019, Ph – 2474-1820 / 21 / 4455 / 4466, 2486-2656.
