About Prasanta Das:


Prasanta Das is a North Indian Classical Khayal Singer. Principal Prasanta Das was born in an ambience of music loving family.

His Career:  Got Lesson on music primarily from his honourable Father Sushil Chandra Das. Later he got training from Pandit Sukamal Prasad Mitra as well as from Ustad Rashid Khan.

Recent life as a Music Teacher: Prasanta Das has been a famous music teacher. The music institute belongs to him is “RAG MAHAL”. Respected Prasanta Das is teaching music in this school as well as in many other schools for last 30 years. He is also performing  as a singer in many music conferences of Kolkata.

About Mahua Das:

Smt. Mahua Das an exponent in Classical, Adhunik , Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrulgeeti, Bhaktigeet and Bhajan was invited in the world of music by her father Late Debendra Nath Mukhopadhyay. She was fortunate to have a guide from Shri Kamal Bose who groomed her into classical base . At present she is learning under the able guidance of her husband Sri Prasanta Das . She participated in Yuba Bani programme and demonstrated her powers in Nazrul Geeti. She also participated in Chatra Yuba Utsav organized by the Government of West Bengal.
