About Moutusi:
 

Moutusi Roy born on 8 th September 1981. She is the daughter of Tapas Kumar Roy & Kasturi Roy. Just from 3 years old she started to take training in Bharatnayam from Kalamandalams Ghrana, participated in various programmes & competitions. After completion of 5 th years in Bharatnatyam from Chandigarh she joined Mamata Shankar Dance Gharanas. There from she got Silver certificate as a senior student and joined Rabindra Bharati University, she did M.A. in dance with the specialisation of Manipuri. She got first Class with Sixth Rank. At that time she involved herself in different programmes under the canopy of Smt Kalavati Devi, Bimbavati Devi . Her love for Rabindranath bloomed from there and she started doing several productions like Ritarangan Chandalika, Tagore in Instruments etc.  At the same time creative dance following Uday Shankars Technique she started creating dance with different Themes, Right now she is joining media as a Choreographer  dancer and actress to enrich our heritage and to go some steps more towards future of Culture.

  • At Asutosh College on History of English and Bengali Literature in the year 2002
  • Took the oportunity....at Delhi to attend a seminar at Delhton Creative Dance with the Lecturer of Rabindra Bharati University.

  • Performed anchoring on 'Amar Bangia' News Magazine on RPG Snap Plus Channel on 9.9.2003 and 11.9.2003 from 7-30 AM to 8.00 AM
  • Performed anchoring on 'Alor Dishari' on Sonar Bangia Channel on 21.9.2003 from 2 to 2.30 PM
