  • 3 Awareness Camps - A walk titled "Project Karuna" with the participation of eminent citizens and decision makers of Kolkata.
                                     - A widely attended forum with school children, eminent artists and performers at South City Mall, Kolkata.
                                     - A city wide Poster Campaign by Debasree Roy personally.                                  
  • Vaccination Camps - 3 camps attended by eminent veterinary doctors at different locations of the city, in association with Maitrayee Veterinary Clinic.
 
 

Work to be done :
 

Debasree Roy foundation, a non-profit seeking organization, new on the map of Kolkata strives to exist as a name synonymous with ANIMAL WELFARE.
It shall have a treatment centre with adequate amenities and medical facilities for ailing dogs brought to their notice in Kolkata.
 

Rehab :
 
Sighting an abandoned dog, looking lost in the middle of crazy city traffic, blatantly unaccustomed to life on road, is unfortunately quite a common occurrence even in an animal loving city like Kolkata. Debasree Roy Foundation seeks to be a rehabilitation centre for these dogs that have been abandoned by their owners and left to their fate on the streets, to tender the treatment required, catering to their basic and emotional needs and try and find suitable homes for them.
