Copper Sulphate Crystal  [New]
We offer copper sulphate crystal, copper sulphate chemical, dry copper sulphate, industrial copper sulphate crystals, blue copper sulphate crystals, dry copper suplhate chemicals, industrial dry copper sulphate, blue copper sulphate, which is an odorless blue crystal that readily dissolves in water. It is also referred as blue vitriol or blue stone and are available in crystal and powder form and is a economic source of copper. This has a fine granular, highly free flowing powder without lumps. It has excellent absorbent properties and are widely used to destroy algae in water supplies. We also offer fine crystals Copper Sulphate that can be used as an ingredient in Bordeaux Mixture sprays as a fungicide to control plant diseases. It is an ingredient in wood treating chemicals to protect against mildew and rotting. These are also used as a raw material in the preparation of other copper compounds, electrolyte for batteries and electroplating baths, and in medicine as a locally applied fungicide, bactericide, and astringent. It also finds wide use in the preparation of pigments. It is Sulphonation of Copper. It is generally available in 5H2O (Crystal) form, though anhydrous is also available. Copper sulphate, blue stone, blue vitriol are all common names for pentahydrated cupric sulphate, which is the best known and the most widely used of the copper salts.

Copper sulphate is a very versatile chemical with as extensive a range of uses in industry as it has in agriculture. It is generally used as insecticide in agriculture & wood industry. The synthetic fibre industry employs it in the production of their raw material. The metal industry uses large quantities of copper sulphate as an electrolyte in copper refining, for copper coating steel wire prior to wire drawing and in various copper plating processes. The mining industry has found its application as an activator in the concentration by froth flotation of lead, zinc, cobalt and gold ores. The printing trade takes it as an electrolyte in the production of electrotype and as an etching agent for process engraving. The paint industry uses it in anti-fouling paints and it plays a part in the colouring of glass. These are just some of the examples of usages of copper sulphate. Today there is hardly an industry that does not have some small use for this man-made chemical.
