                        Music has always been  her passion. 
                  Debatrayee has been learning music since her childhood. Debatrayee started her   musical journey by learning Indian Classical Music from Pandit Amarnath.

                        Debatrayee has also been blessed by the blessings   and good wishes of the legendary singer Smt Arati Mukherjee,   who happens to be her very close family friend. 
                             
                          Debatrayee's first music   album 'JYOTSNA RATE", recorded at the HMV Studio, released from Raga music, was highly appreciated   by media and several eminent personalities.                        
                         Apart from music, Debatrayee has also participated and won various debate competitions   and became Kolkata's youngest SCJP (SUN CERTIFIED   JAVA PROGRAMMER) at the age of 14 yrs. from NIIT Camac   Street. Besides she has a strong academic record. In the year 2010,   Debatrayee passed her ISC Examination from the   Heritage School, securing 94% in her   board.                         
                         Presently, she is studying law under the Calcutta   University, department of Law, Hazra   Campus.                         
                         Debatrayee is also associated with a a lot of NGOs n is highly involved in   social work.                        
                         Her new album 'Atithi' (music n lyrics by famous music   director Sri Mrinal Bandopadhyay) was released on 23rd August 2010, has received   high appreciation. The entire sale proceed of the album has been distributed to   different orphanages and different NGOs in aid of the economically backward   children.  |
