JMTA has initiated a unique program for the underprivileged children in the name of "ASMA TENNIS PROGRAMME", named after Sharmin Mukerjea's sister who recently passed away in the US after a prolonged battle with cancer.

The program will not only provide free tennis lessons, will also take care of their education and certain basic amenities like clothing and nutrition rich diet.

Presently the program is running with ten children in the age group of 10-15, coming from humble backgrounds and underprivileged societies. By the program, the academy hopes to generate players who in future would be able to participate in national and international Tennis Tournaments and also prove to be better and responsible citizens of India.
