MANUFACTURING:
A) Pretreatment:
Following process are adopted, in that order, for 7-tank pre-treatment of sheet and other steel material
after sizing and forming.
i) Degreasing.
ii) Washing with running water.
iii) Acid pickling.
iv) Washing with running water in 2-stage.
v) Phosphatising.
Vi)
Passivation.
vii) Application of one coat of primer.
B) Fabrication :
Fabrication work is taken up as pre drawings approved by the client, after receipt of pretreated materials as stated above. Before taking up fabrication, thickness of all sheets are checked. After fabrication dimensions of panels are checked as per drg. and then sent for painting.
C) Painting :
After fabrication is over in all respect, painting is carried out as per Customer's requirements / specification. However, another coat of primer is applied before final painting. If required by customer, we can undertake sand blasting to be followed by application of epoxy painting for sea coast / offshore plants.
D) Mounting :
Gaskets are fitted after final painting and sufficient care is taken to ensure that the degree of protection is maintained.
Components are mounted on the panel as per approved drawing and complete wiring is done. Bus bar for line and earth are also fitted, before fixing the units / components.
- Visual inspection is carried out to check whether there is any distortion / damage.
- Testing of units like breakers, contactors, relays, CTs etc. is carried out and the results are observed & noted.
