Filter Saturation Alarm - Warns you when it is time to clean the anti-grease filter or substitute the anti-odour filter.

Remote control - Faber hoods with electronic commands come with remote controls, which are particularly useful for people with reduced motor abilities. The remote control is standard for some models and optional on others.

Sensors for Automatic Operation – Permit the hood to activate, regulate and turn off automatically based on activity taking place during cooking.

Energy Diffuser – Reduces noise and guarantees higher hood efficiency even in the presence of long air outlet. Increases suction capacity by 30% and reduces noise up to 3db(A) compared to a traditional diffuser.

Hilo Diffuser – High performance for extremely contained noise levels. 30% noise reduction with respect to the diffusers of older generation.

Comfort panel – Reduces the perceived sound by 25% Highly-developed perimeter suction that guarantees optimized efficiency. Perimeter suction exploits the principles of the Venturi effect: air accelerates as it passes through the constricted extraction space of the panel and then decreases immediately inside the hood and is then easily expelled without need for any particular pressure, making for improved levels of silence.

Silent Kit – Reduces the perceived sound by upto 25%. Washable sound absorbing cushions which soundproof the hood.

EFFICIENT USE AND MAINTENANCE
Non-maintenance of an Electric Chimney causes reduced suction, higher electric consumption, and may lead to malfunctioning / damage of motors, rotors, etc.

Maintenance of an Electric Chimney involves mainly the following:

1. Aluminium Mesh Filters : These filters are made of layers of Aluminium Mesh sandwiched together. As Aluminium Mesh Filters can get clogged due to accumulation of spices and grease, it is recommended that they are cleaned every week by immersing in lukewarm water mixed with mild detergent for 2-3 hours and subsequent washing.
2. Baffle Filters : These filters, made of stainless steel, are non-clogging and can be cleaned once in 4-6 weeks depending upon usage. These filters  can be easily cleaned by washing under the tap, and are also dishwasher safe.

Replacement of charcoal filters
These filters should be used only if the chimney is installed and operated in the re-circulation mode. These need replacement once they get saturated. Non-replacement of Charcoal Filters in time will leave the smell lingering in the kitchen.

Cleaning of diffuser, rotors etc.
The rotor assembly requires periodic cleaning to avoid excess oil/ grease deposition. It is advisable to call the Faber Technician to clean the rotor assembly. However a Chimney having the Faber patented Easy Clean Technology can be cleaned by the Customer within minutes very easily without using any tools.

BUILT-IN GAS HOBS

Faber presents a range of Built-in Hobs in 304 Stainless Steel (Satin & Antiscratch finish) and Glass hobs, to give a touch of class to your modern Kitchen.

Faber hobs are fitted with ITALIAN BURNERS used by the leading brands worldwide.

All hobs are fitted with a TRIPLE RING Burner ideally suited for making chapatis.

Glass hobs are fitted with a Gas cut-off FLAME FAILURE DEVICE (FFD) which cuts of the gas supply incase the flame goes off.

Triple Ring Burner: This is a special purpose Burner provided in select models of Faber Cooking ranges. This Triple Ring Burner is specially provided to product three concentric flame rings ideal for work cooking and preparing chapattis as it generates uniform heat at the centre and around the base of large pans of tavas. All burners are ISO 9001 certified and their performance in terms of efficiency and emission of carbon monoxide is exceptional.
