After establishing an hydraulic operation in China last March, Construction Equipment Division of Hyundai Heavy Industries held a ground-breaking ceremony on the factory in July of 2007.
Construction equipment hydraulic machinery factory boasts 14,458 square meters of size on 80,000 square meters ground. It will start off by manufacturing hydraulic cylinders for excavators and wheel loaders and expand to hydraulic parts later on.
Hydraulic operation in China, independently established by Hyundai Heavy Industries, expects that the factory will manufacture 30,000 units a year.
Background of establishing the hydraulic machinery operation in China is to improve delivery and price competitiveness of Hyundai's partnership companies in China such as Changzhou and Beijing operations. And also create vast gains by locally manufacturing high valued hydraulic products. Moreover, it is expected to boost sales by expanding the supply chain to Chinese excavator manufacturers.
This ground-breaking ceremony is attended by 155 guests including Executive Vice President Jongjin, Kim, the head of oil pressure machinery operation Kyung Ryul, Kwon and mayor of Changzhou.
