Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has developed BT(B)-7 series of its AC battery forklift trucks: the 1.5-, 1.8-, and the 2.0 ton class 3-wheel AC battery forklifts (15/18/20BT-7) and the 1.6-, 1.8-, and the 2.0 ton class 4-wheel AC battery forklifts (16/18/20B-7).

These models are first battery forklifts made by Hyundai that utilizes AC motors. Therefore, AC motors provides superior control, smoother driving and better energy efficiency as well as polished overall design.

Especially, BT(B)-7 series boasts 20% overall improvement, for example, 1.5 ton 15BT-7 has a gradient performance of 29.5%, doesn¡¯t slip on the steep surface and the delicate control capacity enables indoor operations where precisions are required. Moreover, waterproof and dustproof parts are used, hence increasing durability.
