In order to meet increasing demands from all over the world, Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., LTD. decided to invest $330.2 million in a new construction equipment facility in Korea.

It will feature total services for a global construction equipment brand ?sales & marketing office, technical engineering office, fabrication & assembly plant, evaluation laboratory and machine depot.

The facility will be built in the outskirt of Ulsan city. It is scheduled to be completed in October, 2010. When completed, the size of the plant will be increased from 198,000 m?to 452,000 m?and the yearly construction equipment production will be increased from 22,000 to about 60,000 units.
