Binary Fusion, Camac Street centre -
The Camac Street Learning Centre (Centre code: 2817) of Sikkim Manipal University is run by Binary Fusion International Pvt. Ltd. (BFI) - an organization involved in education since 1990. The first venture of BFI was in IT education in collaboration with leading domestic and international organizations such as Aptech Ltd and their courses with NCCr UK, Pace University, New York, USA and Open University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. BFI was also involved in Software development for the domestic and export markets like USA, UK etc.

The partnership with the Manipal group started in 1999 when degree courses were offered in IT together with Aptech. BFI became a University Learning Centre of Sikkim Manipal University and is today offering a vast range of courses conducted by the University.

The excellence of the Centre's performance has been recognized by the University through the "SMU Learning Centre Award" which was handed over by Anil Kumble, Brand Ambassador of the University during the Learning Centre Convention at Manipal in June 2008.

Infrastructure -
The Camac Street centre of Sikkim Manipal University is well equipped to impart state of the art education. Just as the University believes in using technology to impart the best education to the students, the centre has ensured proper implementation of the programs through use of computers with TFT monitors and other teaching aids. Air-conditioned classrooms, a well stocked library and easy accessibility of the centre from all parts of the city ensures that the students get the desired level of infrastructural support.

Faculty -
The involvement of management professionals in the operation of the centre has enabled the centre to recruit a large number of permanent and visiting faculty who are capable of proper delivery of education to students. The visiting faculty have several years of relevant experience in Industry and bring this advantage to the table when imparting knowledge to students. This combined with the fact that Directors with their vast industrial and consulting experience are directly involved in the teaching process ensure a high level of education. The faculty provides personal attention to the students with the centre organising additional facilities for personal development such as improving soft-skills and computer knowledge.
