For film Phera, directed by Buddhadeb Dasgupta, which was selected for entry to the Berlin Film Festival in 1988. For the leading role in this film I won the Best Actress Award from Bengal Film Journalists’ Association (the prestigious BFJA Award).

In the film Sedin Chaitra Mash for the mother’s role there I won the Ananda Lok Best Supporting Actress award.

I won the Alpha Bangla Award for the Best Villain for my role in Kabe Je Kothay.
