FYH First started operation for the production of pillow blocks for the Japanese market in the year 1953.Since the FYH has kept a recognized position as a national top manufacturer using special production techniques for pillow block applications.

FYH has accumulated a great deal of experience over the years and has developed an Automatic line production for individual self aligning structure bearings. leading us to control and fabricate very high quality of bearings including specially designed ceramic bearings.

In contrast to today's commercially available bearings FYH products surface finishing is beyond what is prescribed by Japanese IndustrialBearing Standards. FYH products are designed and produced to fully cope with severe operational conditions where high speed and heavy loads are required. FYH produces nearly 700 types of bearings and over 300 different types of housings. This range makes FYH as one of the leading producer of pillow blocks in the world.

Besides standard production series produced by the most of the leading manufacturers of the world FYH also produces small right weight unit (so called clean series), stainless steel series and Ceramic series of bearing units.

The Ceramic bearings (Si3N4) series which are internationally thought as new generation of bearings has also been developed by our R&D dept, starting from the idea that ceramics can effectively substitute the steel balls running on the bearings. Their main feature if durability which is substantially improved, where as adhesion between ball and race can be prevented by the combination of different kind of materials of steel and ceramic, also termed as hybrid bearings. Furthermore the bearings maintenance is free even under aggressive environmental conditions.

The goal of is to continue R&D activities, in order to fabricate pillow blocks which can keep working with no maintenance even under ultimate environments such as in the ocean and/or the space technology.
