Influenced by Stanislavsky, Arindam took to drama for four years when he did not act in any television serials or movies. Stage, as Arindam say, imparted in him the spirit of joy as an actor. Having worked in various challenging roles in popular dramas like Ghate Aghatan, Amake Sabdhan, Aparichito.
Arindam still acts in theatre if he gets the opportunity and time. Recently, in July 2007 he toured and performed in twelve cities of United States with Bollywood stars like Biswajit and Mousumi Chatterjee.
