In its second endeavour at event management (the first being a medley dhamaka of song and dance) PHANTASIA organised an Antakshari at the International Club recently The programme was held to mark the 60th birth anniversay of Amitabh Bachchan.
Open to members and guests the Antakshari was conducted by actor ARINDAM SIL and witnessed active participation from all members of the club. To cut across all age groups, Phantasia made it a unique event where a niece could team up with an uncle, a mother with a son or a grandson with a grandmom, to form 16 teams. The idea clicked because the teams had people of all ages taking a walk down memory line to Amitabh's era. From Aare Deewano to Yamma Yamma and Dekha Mere Khwab Mein Jo Sil Sile Huan, all the songs were sung with equal gusto. Participants and audience enjoyed it thoroughly.
